Sarah McSwiney is Head of Engineering at Jetstar Airways and a Board Director of Aviation/Aerospace Australia. A Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE), she has more than 20 years’ experience across the aviation and aerospace sectors, including senior leadership roles with Boeing in Australia and the United States spanning commercial aviation, defence, and research and development. Sarah holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering, an Executive MBA, and an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from MIT Sloan School of Management, which she completed as a Chief Executive Women scholar. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is passionate about advancing the Australian aerospace and aviation industry through innovation, diversity and building sovereign capability.
